Keep The Focus On Your Painted Furniture

#StagingSaturdaysWithFallon #YourVirtualStorefront

When you are trying to stage a piece of furniture to sell online, the props you use to accent the piece should not be random; they should be intentional and cohesive. You want to simply show the purpose because you’re trying sell a piece of furniture, not the items on it. A pop of color here-and-there is totally okay to add a little dimension, as long as it is cohesive and balanced. In fact, you may not need any props if your piece is vibrant, detailed oriented and/or has multiple colors because you do not want to compete with the art of the piece. Let the beauty of it speak for itself and leave the props out or keep them to a minimum. Another example is when you’re staging modern-style furniture. Those pieces are intended to be clean and clutter free so typically. very few props should be used.

To help simplify things, always focus on the purpose, style and genre of the piece when you’re choosing your props to stage your painted furniture to sell. Don’t overdo it. And don’t miss out on your FREE Furniture Flipping Checklist here!
