If you didn’t have a chance to read last week’s staging tip; The color of your Staging Item’s Should be Cohesive with Your Painted Furniture, here is the blog post. The reason I am sharing it again is because today’s tip helps with last weeks topic!

Today’s tip is to always keep at least 4 colors of spray paint on hand; black, white, silver and oil-rubbed bronze (brown). I also recommend keeping gold on hand if you use that color a lot. These are the most common colors used on hardware, and you can quickly and easily spray paint a small accent piece to match the color of your hardware when you are staging. Just make sure it’s nice and dry before you place it on your newly painted piece!

Also, keep in mind that you can reuse these staging item’s. You may need something to be white one week and then the next week you need it to be black. Item’s that are great for spray painting time-and-time again are: frames, candlesticks, vases, cake stands, small baskets and trays.
